As my old installation got fucked up and due to lack of backups I had to restart from scratch. I could not repair the old installation since it was a “click & build” application. So heed my advice, never ever use a 1&1 click & build. It’s not much effort to create your own wordpress (or whatever cms you prefer) installation anyways. And yeah, do backup your stuff

So what I want to do with this website (call it blog if you want, but imho wordpress has outgrown it’s original purpose) is:
personal blog
learning support for my studies
promote software I have created
use as personal portal
Ah, by the way I’ll write in German, English and Spanish. By default I use English, as it is pretty much the lingua franca. I’ll use German for it happens to be my mother tongue wherever it makes sense or better wherever English simply doesn’t make sense. The posts composed in Spanish will primarily be written for the sake of practicing my command of the language I am currently learning with kind affection.
So I’m looking forward to hearing from you soon.
